This is the place. The historic Brighton Dome, right in the heart of the city’s bustling North Laine. A beautiful space. Our job is to fill it with beautiful ideas.
Jump on a fast train from London Victoria, or from London Bridge, Gatwick Airport or St Pancras International (where Eurostar arrives from France, Belgium and the Netherlands). Trains also come to Brighton from Portsmouth, Southampton and Ashford. The Dome is 10 minutes’ downhill walk from the station.
If you drive to Brighton via the A23 or A27, remember that getting to the heart of the city by car can be slow. The nearest car park to our venue is Brighton Theatre NCP. It’s not cheap, but there’s a discount if you’re coming to Meaning – ask the venue staff for a voucher. How about teaming up with others, and liftsharing your trip to Meaning?
Gatwick Airport is served by flights from all over the world, and isn’t far from Brighton by rail, or even taxi. You can also fly to other London airports like Heathrow or Luton – but you’ll have further to travel to reach us in Brighton.
Make the most of your trip – sign up for some Meaning Fringe events and stay a night or two in Brighton. There are so many accommodation options – including some that have earned TripAdvisor’s ‘Green Leaders’ certification. And there’s always AirBnB for finding something unique. (The Royal Pavilion isn’t one of them sadly).
