Brighton is ripe with purpose-driven, progressive and ethical businesses. But who are they and where are they? Fugu has created this Meaning Fringe event to help you find them, as part of a bike tour of Brighton’s iconic landmarks.
This informal gathering has two parts…
Part one: welcoming Meaning participants to Brighton and helping people make the most of their stay on one of the new BTN BikeShare Life Bikes. We’ll walk them through the scheme, how to sign up and get out on a bike during Meaning week.
Part two: an optional free bike tour of Brighton’s top spots and purposeful businesses. It’s available to the first 8 Meaning ticket holders who register. Riding on the city’s new Life Bikes, you’ll be taken on a classic tour of Brighton, with a special meaningful twist. Participants will visit and find out more about Brighton’s purpose-driven business pioneers such as Mooncup and Hisbe.
To join the bike tour, please book the bike tour ticket option and arrive at Small Batch Coffee by 2:10PM for 2:30PM departure. (Latecomers may find their bike tour space has been given to someone else interested on the day.) The tour will last approximately 90 mins.
Please register at BTN BikeShare in advance, selecting the ‘Easy Rider’ option (unless you wish to purchase an annual subscription). If you would like help with signing up on the day, please allow extra time on arrival. The only cost to you will be for the time spent on the Life Bikes, which will be around £2.50.
The tour will return to Small Batch Coffee, Jubilee Street where the conversations on purpose driven, progressive business and ideas sparked from the tour can continue.
If you’re planning to pop in and want help signing up to the BTN BikeShare scheme, book here or just drop-in.
